PURPOSE:To improve the stabilization of an image forming coloring matter by using a bleaching fixer contg. a ferric complex salt of an org. acid in development processing the titled material contg. a specific compd. after image-wisely exposing it. CONSTITUTION:The bleaching fixer contg. the ferric complex salt of the org. acid is used in the development processing the titled material contg. the compd. shown by the formula LIG-X, after image-wisely exposing it. In the formula, LIG is a ligand capable of forming a complex salt with a metallic ion, and then forming a metallic complex salt coloring matter, X is a group capable of cleaving from LIG according to developing the silver halide. The preferable example lies in satisfying the following conditions, namely the bleaching fixer contains a reducing agent at the beginning of the processing; the bleaching fixer is not processed by means of a forced aeration; and the titled material contains the core-shell type silver halide particle and/or the plate type silver halide particle in at least one layer of the photosensitive emulsion layers, etc. Thus, the image forming coloring matter of the titled material is stabilized, and the bleaching fixer is activated. |
