The circuit controls the on/off switching of a motor's dc braking coil and is independent of the motor. A double half wave rectifier circuit (1) is connected to the input side of the braking coil (5, 6) and acts as a voltage doubler. Two series capacitors (7) are connected in parallel with the coil and their junction (8) is connected directly to one phase (3a) of an ac source (3); their outer plates (9) are connected via diodes (10, 11) to the other phase (3b) of the ac source. |
