PURPOSE:To simplify a control system for high frequency injection, by collecting injection timings of plural cylinders as a high frequency injection signal source upon determination of a high frequency injection operating region, setting each timing to the injection timing, and correcting a pulse period to a small value. CONSTITUTION:A rotation detecting means 5 receives a signal from a crank angle sensor 4 to detect an engine rotation, and a suction air quantity detecting means 7 receives a signal from an air flow sensor 6 to detect a suction air quantity. An injection pulse control means 8 receives signals from both the detecting means 5 and 7 to obtain a fuel injection pulse and output the same to a fuel injection valve 3. An operating condition determining means 9 is provided to determine a high frequency injection operating region such as a light load region. Upon determination of the high frequency injection operating region, a period correcting means 10 outputs the the control means 8 a correction signal for collecting injection timing of plural cylinders as a high frequency injection signal source, setting each timing to the injection timing, and correcting a pulse period to a small value.
