PURPOSE:To switch and display optionally the present advance azimuth and an advance azimuth to a target place by setting in advance the advance azimuth to the target place, and displaying a difference between said azimuth and the present advance azimuth. CONSTITUTION:When an engine key 76 is turned, on, an FF 72 is set and a mode switching signal C becomes H, and an advance azimuth to a target place is displayed on an azimuth display part 10b. Thereafter, when a switch 68 is operated, an output of the FF 72 is inverted and the switching signal C becomes L, and the present advance azimuth is displayed on the azimuth display part 10b. In this case, based on updating of a code signal from an azimuth detecting circuit 22, the present advance azimuth which has been updated is displayed successively on the azimuth display part 10b. On the other hand, in a subtracting circuit 58, a difference between the code signal A and a code signal B is calculated, and displayed on an azimuth difference display part 10a. Thereafter, as a value of the code signal A is updated at every prescribed time, the display of the azimuth difference display part 10a and the azimuth display part 10b is changed. Also, in case it is desired to display the advance azimuth to the target place,the azimuth to the target place is displayed on the azimuth display part 10b by operating the switch 68 and setting the switching signal C to H.
