PURPOSE:To provide the titled adhesive which exhibits a strong rodent repellent effect over a long period of time and can stably maintain the effect even after various processing, by incorporating microcapsules comprised of a cycloheximide solution covered with a wall material in an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A solution contg. cycloheximide in an amt. of 0.25-50wt% based on a microcapsule is used as a core material. A microcapsule comprised of the core material covered with a wall material is incorporated to obtain a rodent repellent adhesive. Examples of the adhesive include amply suppliable urea resin, melamine resin, phenolic resin, vinyl acetate resin and synthetic rubber adhesives. Suitable wall materials of the microcapsule are urea resin, melamine resin, phenolic resin, polyurethane, etc., because they do not spoil the effect of cycloheximide.
