PURPOSE:To make the motor thin with high torque by forming either one of the rotor or the stator with an equal width of poles and the other with an armature, and by specifying this armature in wide one or in narrow one in arrangement. CONSTITUTION:A three-phase eight-poled axial gap motor is equipped with a rotor and a stator, and is supported with a rotor 9' in constitution. The rotor arranges rotor magnets around the disc rotor yoke, dividing the total perimeter 2pi by weight (8) (number of poles) to axially arrange N and S poles one after another. The stator is constituted by fitting a disc stator yoke to the motor frame and providing nine (9) pieces of armature 7 winding the coil around its periphery. These armatures 7 are arranged in three (3) pieces each with wide ones 7a and narrow ones 7b for A-C phases by dividing total perimeter 2pi by the number of the phases 3. Thus the deviation is inevitably caused between the poles of rotor and armatures wherever they are situated, by which the rotating output can always be kept high. |
