PURPOSE:To rapidly and stably process a photographic element, without generating a decoloring thereof, even if in case of storing for long periods by using a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. the silver halide emulsion composed substantially of a silver chlorobromide emulsion and composed of a substantial monodispersed emulsion, and by specifying the coated amount of silver and the developing conditions. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion contd. in the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is composed substantially of the silver chlorobromide emulsion, and is the substantial monodispersed emulsion. Each coated amount of silver in the blue sensitized silver halide emulsion layer, the green sensitized silver halide emulsion layer and the red sensitized silver halide emulsion layer is 0.15g/m<2>. The photographic element having 0.45-0.70g/m<2> of the total coated amount of silver is developing processed, using a coloring developer contg. a N-hydroxylalkyl substd.-p-phenylene diamine derivative at >=30 deg.C temp. for <=150sec. Thus, the titled material capable of maintaining a always appropriate and constant photographic [performance for long period is obtd. and the rapid and stable processing method of the photographic element is obtd. without generating the decoloring of the obtd. colored coloring matter, even if in case of storing it for long periods. |
