PURPOSE:To prevent the feeling of the independence of an arithmetic register and to store the same sub-routine into the same area of a ROM in preparing the program by having the common sub-routine regardless of the program system. CONSTITUTION:After a program is stored from a ROM3 to an instruction register 4 once, the program is given to a code converting circuit 5. The converting circuit 5 is code-converted by the action of a changing-over signal 11 and a sub-routine call signal, and the converted output signal is given from enable outputs EN0-3 and load outputs LD0-3 to an arithmetic register. The converting circuit 5 is constituted of an AND circuit 1 and an OR circuit and a program changing-over signal 11 and a sub-routine call signal 12 are given to an AND1. To the OR2, the output of a register identifying code and an AND1 is supplied. When the converting circuit 5 is called from a program 1 side, the code of 'WY' and 'WZ' comes to be 'W' and 'Y' register codes, and when the circuit is called from a program 2 side, 'Y' and 'Z' registers are obtained and the automatic changing-over is executed.
