PURPOSE:To process NC tapes as one NC tape on the whole by decoding a call command for another NC tape which is set in the middle of one NC tape and inserting the contents of the specified NC tape into the contents of said NC tape at the corresponding position. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk reader 2 checks the NC information of the specific NC tape on a floppy disk at any time while sending the specific NC tape to an NC device body 1. When a block (#<...) is detected in the NC information, the block is not sent to the NC device body 1 and the part '...' is judged as a file name on the floppy disk; and the contents of the file are handled as NC information and the NC information is read out of the floppy disk and sent to the NC device body 1. The NC device body 1 performs control according to the sent data to perform processing as if data of one NC tape were sent.
