PURPOSE:To make a change in cursor position which requires several-times key depression by single-time key operation by assigning a function for moving a cursor to a specific position to a specific key on a keyboard input device. CONSTITUTION:A specific key for key assignment is depressed to transfer control to a key code assignment control part through a CPU. Then, a key to be assigned is specified and the position of the cursor moved to a specific position on a display screen with cursor movement keys is inputted, so that the cursor moves to the cursor position on the display screen through a key code assignment control part immediately with the specific key.
