PURPOSE:A deodorant, containing a composite powder consisting of a synthetic resin, e.g. nylon, etc., and hydroxyapatite as a deodorant active material, utilizable as antiperspirant, germicide, masking agent, etc., and having improved safety and usability. CONSTITUTION:A deodorant obtained by blending a composite powder consisting of a synthetic resin, e.g. nylon, polyethylene or polypropylene, and hydroxyapatite as a deodorant active material in an amount of preferably 0.1-60wt% in the deodorant. The composite power preferably contains the synthetic resin as powder which is substantially completely coated with the hydroxyapatite powder having an average particle diameter of <=1/5 based on that of the synthetic resin powder. |
