PURPOSE:To display an image even to a graphic display position which does not have an image display function by using user designated coordinates and converting picture data to graphic data so that the data quantity can be minimum. CONSTITUTION:When the image data received by an image data display instruction receiving means 1 are the compressed data, after the data are extended by a compressed data extending means 2, the data are delivered to a converting means 3 to the graphic data of picture data. By the converting means 3, the image data are corresponded to the display area in the user designating coordinate space of the graphic designated by the image data display instruction receiving means 1, and the part, in which 1 is continuous, is replaced to the graphic data. Next, by a coordinate converting means 4, the coordinates of the graphic data replaced by the converting means 3 by using the procedure in the graphic processing are converted from user designating coordinates to the device coordinates of a graphic display device and a graphic command is generated. A graphic display means 5 displays the graphic by the graphic command on the graphic display device. |
