PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of an operator by judging the instruction timing of the next sound reproduction start from the condition of the internal processing such as KANA(Japanese syllabary) KANJI(Chinese character) conversion, etc., of an inputted document, and starting the sound reproduction by the instruction, in a system to replace the sound information sound-recorded to a cassette type magnetic tape, etc., into sound information, and input successively. CONSTITUTION:When the contents of an unconverted character number register INC are '0', it is judged that the unconverted character is not remained, and in a step S8, to reproduce the sound of the sentence to be inputted next, a reproducing starting signal (PST) is outputted. Succeedingly a sound reproducing machine 20 restarts the reproducing action, and when a reproducing stopping signal (STO) accompanying the detection of the silence part of the constant time or above is outputted from a sentence detecting device 21, the sound reproducing machine 20 comes to be the pause condition, until the reproducing starting signal (PST) is inputted from a CPU 10 again.
