PURPOSE:To easily prohibit to use the device outside the device usable time zone by setting the time zone to prohibit to load a program to a non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A data processor 1 is composed of a processor 2, a non-volatile memory 5 to accommodate the time zone information to designate a time zone to prohibit a program load, a clock mechanism 6, a ROM 3 to accommodate a loader program, an auxiliary memory device 8 to store the prescribed program, an adapter 7 and a bus 9. When the power source is turned on to the processor 1, the control of the processor 2 is passed to the loader program. The loader program reads the present time from the clock mechanism 6, reads the prohibiting time zone information from the nonvolatile memory 5, executes the comparison with the present time, and when the present time is included in either case in the prohibiting time zone, the load of a program from the device 8 is not executed. Thus, the use of the processor outside the data processor usable time can be individually and easily prohibited by a data processor.
