PURPOSE:To confirm simply the content of absence transfer even from a key telephone set where the absence transfer is set by providing an absence transfer confirming key and an information display board to each key telephone set. CONSTITUTION:Plural sets of key telephone sets 1a-1c are provided with a liquid crystal display board 8 as an information display board and an absence transfer confirming key 7 respectively in addition to a pushbutton for dialing provided conventionally and a required function button 2. When the user of the key telephone set 1b depresses the absence transfer confirming key 7, an absence transfer area is searched and whether or not the extension number of a key telephone set whose absence transfer confirming key is depressed is written is checked. Then the extension number of the key telephone set set with the absence transfer is analyzed and it is displayed on the liquid crystal display board.
