PURPOSE:To improve the tread tenacity and the strength of a tire and the shock absorbing performance thereof, by forming a belt layer composed of a textile cord in a multilayer manner utilizing rayon cords and the like and disposing reinforcing layers between the belt layers and a carcas layer, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A carcas layer 3 composed of a textile cord is interposed between a pair of right and left bead sections while belt layers 1 are provided on the carcas layer 3, annularly in the peripheral direction of a tire. In this case, reinforcing layers 2 composed of nylon cords are interposed between the belt layers 1 and the carcas layer 3, annularly in the peripheral direction of the tire. The belt layers 1 are formed by, for example, rayon cords having the thickness of 1,650 D/3 and the end No.30-45, and the like. Further, the belt layer 1 is formed in a folded structure comprising four sheets of ply 1a-1d provided with a pair of plies, which have a folded part 4a at one end in the width direction of the tire, and a pair of plies which is superposed thereon and have a folded part 4b at the other end in the width direction of the tire.
