PURPOSE:To form a correction signal of waveform in which the edge part is made step by obtaining a signal obtained by making addition, subtraction and level shifting on an original signal and the first and second delay signals and obtaining intermediate level between the signal and three signals by a majority logic circuit. CONSTITUTION:When video signals of waveform (a) are impressed to an input terminal A, signals of waveforms (f) and (d) are obtained in output terminals F and D of delay elements 11 and 12. Signals of waveform (g) is obtained in the output terminal G of an adder 13, and secondary differential waveform shown by waveform (b) is obtained in the output terminal B of a subtracter 14, and sum of this signal and the signal of waveform (f) is obtained in the output terminal C of an adder 16. When original signals (a), (d), (c) are inputted to a majority logic circuit 21, signal waveform (e) corresponding to intermediate level of 3 input signals is obtained in an output terminal E. Preshoot and overshoot are removed from the signal of waveform (e) and rising and falling characteristics of edge part of the signal are improved.
