PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the replacement of a probe within a short time, by a method wherein a connection stand is provided to a probe panel and the connection terminal connected to each probe is provided to said connection stand and a connector panel provided with a plurality of connector pins corresponding to the connection stand is moved toward the connection stand. CONSTITUTION:A printed wiring board 40 is placed on a probe panel 10 at the predetermined position thereof so that each pad part 41 of the printed wiring board 10 is connected to each necessary probe 11 on the probe panel 10. Thereafter, by operating an operation apparatus 23, the connection of a connector panel 10 and a connection stand 12 is automatically performed. Next, when the inspection of the printed wiring board 40 having a different form is desired to be performed, the probe panel 10 corresponding to the printed wiring board 40 is prepared. In the probe panel 10 of this separate form, the connection stand 12 corresponding to the kind of said probe panel 10 is integrally provided.
