PURPOSE:To ensure the electric contact between a ridge and a strip line by constituting the ridge of a ridge waveguide by an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:The ridge 2 is made of an elastic metal and slot 2a is formed to a side face of the ridge 2 in contact with the strip line 3a. Through the constitution above, since an elastic force is exerted at the tip of the ridge 2, the ridge has an electrically sufficient contact with the line 3a under a proper contact pressure and the impedance between the ridge 2 and the line 3a is matched under the contact state. In selecting types of material of the ridge 2 or the shape of the elastic part properly, the contact pressure between the ridge 3 and the line 3a is adjusted, then even when a microstrip circuit base 3 is not flat, sure electric contact is attained. Further, the base 3 is not damaged even with too strong press contact.
