PURPOSE:To prevent the removal of a cluster which covers the installing part of a car audio, from within a vehicle room and prevent said car audio from being stolen by inserting an imitation cassette in an inserting opening of said car audio. CONSTITUTION:The captioned theft-proof device has a removal preventing board 1 which covers the front face of a car audio B. The removal preventing board 1 is provided in such a way that at least the installing lug f2 of a cluster F and the vehicle-room side front face of the eject button of the car audio B can be covered by its front face part. Also, an imitation cassette 2 which can be inserted into a cassette inserting opening is fixed on the back of the preventing board 1 by means of a fixing member 3. And, an operating window 4 is formed on the front face of the removal preventing board 1 in a position corresponding to the eject button, and the window 4 can be closed by a removable locking cap 5. This locking cap 5 has a key cylinder 6 and can be optionally removed. |
