摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To optimize the gain of a tape tensile force control system by controlling a motor driving a tape reel so that the tape tensile force can be constant according to the output of a variable gain amplification means changing gains in accordance with the output of a tape speed signal generation means. CONSTITUTION:A take-up reel 3 winding a tape 2, a supply tape 4 supplying the tape 2 are provided, and are driven by reel motors 3A and 4A, respectively. A tape speed detection circuit 20 detects the rotation of a tacho roller 5 by an optical encoding system, and further detects the travel speed of the tape 2 according to the detected rotation. A tape speed voltage generator circuit 21 outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the tape speed detected by the circuit 20, and a tape tensile force detection circuit 22 outputs a voltage corresponding to the tape tension detected by a tension detection part 12. The variable gain amplifier circuit 23 inputs the output of the circuit 22, and gains are controlled according to the output of the circuit 21. In accordance with the output of the circuit 23, a motor drive circuit 24 drives the reel motors, thereby optimizing the gains of the tape tensile force control system.</p>
