PURPOSE:To obtain the material to be recorded efficient in ink absorbency and the durability of a picture in recording, the ink receiving layer of which is free from stickiness even under high-humidity conditions, by forming the anchor coat layer consisting of polyurethane resin having excessive isocyanate group. CONSTITUTION:In the material to be recorded, consisting of a substrate and the ink receiving layer provided on the substrate, the anchor coat layer consisting of polyurethane resin composed of the compound having the group capable of reacting with isocyanate group and isocyanate group, having excessive isocyanate group, is formed on the substrate. The polyurethane resin has numerous urethane bonds (-NHCOO-) and urea bonds (-NHCONH-) in molecules thereof even though it is water-in-soluble polyurethane resins, and further, that having excessive isocyanate group indicates good stickiness to the ink receiving layer consisting of water-soluble polymer and is water-insoluble. Therefore, it also indicates sufficient stickiness to the substrate, for instance, polyester film, and is optimum for forming the anchor coat layer of the material to be recorded. |
