PURPOSE:To execute easily quickly a document design by inputting a character- string adpoted character and each item management information, and thereafter, inputting an element list, executing a form layout work and a form makeup work, and executing an information conversion for outputting an image, after all the works are ended. CONSTITUTION:By an input device 20, management information such as a file number, a name of commodity, an operator's name, etc. is inputted, also a computer system 50 is initialized and a file 30 is set to an open state, and a spacing chart for a design is displayed on a CRT display device 10 in a shape of a grid. Also, a business form design which is registered already in the file 30 is selected and displayed on a CRT display device 10. In such both cases, an interactive business from design input is executed by the CRT display device 10 and the input device 20, and after the work is ended, a data is registered in the file 30. Also, a photoengraving film, etc. of the document design are outputted through a converting system 41 and an output device 40.
