PURPOSE:To copy plural originals on the same transfer paper by designating the length of the transfer paper, the number of originals to be copied on the same transfer paper, and the length of originals to feed automatically originals and forming the electrostatic latent images of plural originals adjacently to one another on a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The number (n=3) of originals to be copied on the same transfer paper is designated in accordance with the length L of the transfer paper and the length L0 of the original, and 11 originals are set in an automatic original feeding device 16. The first original is set in a prescribed position on an original placing glass, and a photosensitive body 10 is exposed to form a corresponding electrostatic latent image.
