PURPOSE:To operate a movable roof as being delayed to a door as well as to aim at the promotion of smoothness in lock operation on the movable roof and improvement in safety at the time of boarding and alighting, by transmitting the operation of an actuating mechanism linked with opening/closing motion of the door in suck a way as to be delayed to the opening/closing mechanism of the movable roof. CONSTITUTION:When a door start, opening, for example, a lock member 18 is retracted by a solenoid 19 whereby the lock of a moving body 10 is released. Simultaneously with this motion, operation of an actuating mechanism is transmitted to a driving member 12 against a return spring 15 by way of a flexible cable 6, and furthermore it is transmitted to the moving body 10 of an opening/ closing mechanism via an expansion elastic body 13. In consequence, since the moving body 10 shifts along a moving route 9, an open/close link 7 rises and rotates whereby a movable roof 3 is opened upward. At this time, an open/ close motion of the movable roof 3 operates as being delayed to an open/close motion of the door by means of expansion of contraction of the elastic body 13. Therefore, such trouble where the movable roof is opened or closed too early and comes into contact with people boarding or alighting eliminable.
