<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a PCM reproduction signal from deteriorating by reproducing a magnetic tape where four kinds of pilot signals are recorded along with an information signal and shifting the DC level of a signal for tracing control during post-recording operation. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction pilot signal and a reference signal are inputted from terminals 101 and 103. The output of a balanced modulator circuit 102 is inputted to a tuning circuit 104 of fH and a tuning circuit 105 of 3fH and supplied to detecting circuits 106 and 107. A reference voltage supplied from a bias circuit 113 to a level comparing circuit 108 and an inverting circuit 109 is switched to a value smaller during post-recording operation than during normal reproducing operation. The circuit 113 discriminates between the normal reproducing operation and post-recording operation according to a mode command signal applied to a terminal 114, and then switches the supply voltage. Further, a tracking error signal is led out from a terminal 112. Thus, a shift in join between video tracks and PCM tracks during the post-recording operation is eliminated.</p> |
