PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition outstanding in thermal stability in melt forming, formability and mechanical properties, comprising a thermoplastic polyester, filler, organic acid ester compound, antimony compound treated by heating and organic halogen compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester with (B) 0-200pts.wt. of a filler (pref. glass fiber), (C) 0.1-30pts.wt. of an organic acid ester compound, pref. a terminal-bindered polycaprolactone with a number-average molecular weight 200-20,000 of formula I [R'' is (m+m')-valent organic group; R<12> and R<13> are each monovalent organic group; n and n' are each >=2; m and m' are each 0-4, (m+m') being >=1], (D) 0.1-20pts.wt. of a product from treatment by heating at >=100 deg.C (pref. >=300 deg.C) of an antimony compound of formula II (X is 0.1-0.8; Y is number of crystal water 0.25-4) and (E) 0.1-30pts.wt. on a halogen element basis, of an organic halogen compound, followed by kneading on melting at the melting point of the component A or higher. |
