发明名称 LEAK DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To presume the number of leak places by selecting an incident angle of light on an optical prism and material of the optical prism and measuring the reflection intensity changing by a difference of a refractive index of a leak fluid in contact with the optical prism. CONSTITUTION:The light generated by a light source 1 is given to an optical directional coupler 3 with an optical fiber 2 as a transmission path and equally distributed with respect to each optical prism sensor 4. Each sensor 4 is arranged to a part on one surface of which the fluid 7 is expected to leak out and the incident light 8 given from the directional coupler 3 is reflected on the one surface. Then, an extent that the incident light 8 is reflected is different by the existence or nonexistence of the leak fluid 7 with each sensor 4. The reflected light 9 of each sensor 4 is collected by an optical collector 5 via the fiber 2 and the collected light is transmitted by the fiber 2 and the quantity of light is measured by an intensity detector 6.
