PURPOSE:To economically carry out hydrogenation of a gasoline fraction with saved fuel consumption, by heating fluid at an inlet of a reactor utilizing the sensible heat of fluid at an outlet of the reactor. CONSTITUTION:A fed raw material for hydrogenation is mixed with circulating hydrogen in a mixer 34, subjected to heat-exchange in heat-exchangers 22, 23, 24, 25 with a material discharged from a reactor and then heated with steam in a heat-exchanger 26. It is heated to a prescribed temperature in heat- exchangers 27, 28 and hydrogenated and refined in a reactor 21. The fluid discharged from the reactor is used as a heat source of the heat-exchangers 28, 27 to heat the material to be supplied to the reactor. The cooled fluid is passed through the heat-exchangers 25, 24, 23, 22 to recover the residual heat and finally cooled in a cooler 29. The hydrogenated gasoline is condensed by this procedure and separated into hydrogen and final product by a separator 10.
