A separator for light liquids (oil) is equipped near the inflow with an immersed partition followed by a flow rectifier. The latter fills up the entire chamber cross-section and consists e.g. of several mats in a structure. A wire cage with a handle facilitates the exchange of the active parts of the rectifier.
