NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R<1> and R<2> are H or lower alkyl R<2> is H or lower alkoxyl; R<3> is H, lower alkyl or lower alkoxyl), ester or salt thereof. EXAMPLE:N-[4-(3, 4-dihydro-6-methoxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethyl-2H-benzopyran-2-yl)-2- butenoyl]anthranilic acid. USE:An orally administrable antiallergic agent having high safety. PREPARATION:An aldehyde expressed by formula II is reacted with a Horner reagent, prepared from triethyl phosphonoacetate and sodium hydride and expressed by formula III to give a substituted acrylic acid ester expressed by formula IV, which is then hydrolyzed, reacted with thionyl chloride, converted into an acid chloride and then reacted with anthranilic acid in an inert solvent in the presence of a tertiary amine to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I.
