BATCH ASPHALT MANUFACTURE WITH RECYCLING

In a batch-type asphalt concrete plant using a proportion of recycled material, off-gases from a directly fired rotary aggregate dryer are used to dry and preheat the recycled material in a rotary dryer without direct firing, thus simplifying control of emissions whilst increasing the proportion of recycled material that can be used.
