<p>The invention relates to new (4S)-4-aminobutanoic acid derivatives of general formula: <IMAGE> in which: R represents an N-protective group, R1 represents hydrogen, an alkali metal atom such as lithium, sodium or potassium or a liabile group, R2 represents a group of formula: <IMAGE> in which W represents hydrogen, a hydroxy group or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and to a process for the preparation of the said derivatives. The 4-aminobutanoic acid derivatives according to the invention are useful as synthesis intermediates for the preparation of peptides derived from statin analogues.</p> |
