PURPOSE:To provide the titled slub yarn having good mechanical properties and handleability, containing uniformly dispersed undrawn parts in a non- crimped conjugate yarn. CONSTITUTION:A multi-filament yarn composed of single filaments having a denier unevenness along the length (the denier ratio of the thick part to the fine part is >=2.0). It is a non-crimped conjugate yarn having the P50 value of period 50cm on a spectrograph obtained by normal test of <=1/2 of the maximum value (Pmax) and containing a polyester as at least a component. A raw material having high added value and exhibiting a primary yield strength of >=1.1g/de, an elongation at break of <=33%, spun-like property and draping property can be produced by this process.
