PURPOSE:To execute the switching of an access environment without being restricted, by completing the transfer of access environment designating information, and setting of an instruction to be executed in the next time to the desired value of an address, by synchronizing with the execution of a single instruction. CONSTITUTION:When a space switching instruction is decided, an instruction prefetch is suspended, and other instruction is rejected. If an unreceived data exists, it is all inputted. A new data is set to a space designating register 22. Finally, a prescribed value is set to the program counter 15 of a processor 10. The next instruction is read out of an address of a new address space, in accordance with an address conversion table which is designated by new contents of the space designating register 22.
