PURPOSE:To suppress yarn unevenness resulting from cooling variability, by setting a shutter having the under surface of a specific shape between space just under a spinneret and a cooling chamber of horizontal blow type below the space. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 3 having the under surface satisfying the following conditions is set between space just under a spinneret 1 of a melt spinning device and a cooling chamber of horizontal blow type under the space. The horizontal direction of cooling air blow is x-axis, the spinning direction is z-axis and the direction perpendicular to the x-axis and the z-axis is y-axis. When f(x) shows the z coordinates at the under surface of the shutter, L1 shows distance (cm) from face of cooling air blow to the center of the spinneret on the x-axis and L2 shows distance (cm) from the center of the spinneret to the end of the shutter on the x-axis, formula I-formula V are satisfied.
