PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a skid by filling heat resistant powder or granules into the gap between the outer pipe and ceramics as a filler put in the pipe so that the powder or granules absorb stress produced by thermal expansion or shrinkage. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of ceramics 2 as a filler are put in an outer pipe 1 in the axial direction. The pipe 1 is made of a heat resistant alloy or a composite body consisting of the heat resistant alloy and refractories. Heat resistant powder or granules 3 are filled into the gap between the outer pipe 1 and the ceramics 2. The preferred filling rate is 95-98%. The powder or granules 3 absorb stress produced by thermal expansion or shrinkage.
