1284277 Tenderising meat during storage B G TORNQUIST 20 Aug 1969 [21 Aug 1968] 41600/69 Heading A2U A piece of meat 6 is tenderised during storage by hanging it on a hook 7 which depends from a loop 3 of a carrying member 1 comprising an intermediate element, having a round or other smooth section, and a loop 2 for suspending it from a rail, and then airtightly fastening a plastic sleeve 4 to the intermediate member as by a clip 5, the sleeve 4 being then pulled downwardly over the meat after which its lower end is evacuated, and sealed by a clip 8. The piece of meat may be supported within the sleeve on a net. |
