PURPOSE:To easily detect local surface discharge by analyzing discharge products sticking on a sensor material arranged nearby a surface discharge occurrence place. CONSTITUTION:A copper foil sheet having stickiness, etc., is arranged nearby the surface discharge occurrence place as a sensor for discharge detection. Then, discharge products such as nitric acid ions and nitrous acid ions are stuck on the sensor for discharge detection. Ths copper foil sheet is cut into small pieces and the sticking ions are solved out in pure water by ultrasonic washing. Then this eluate is analyzed by ion chromatography, etc., and the presence amount of nitric acid ions is found to easily detect the place where the surface discharge occurs. |
