PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent the decrease in quality due to the failure of glass flow by a method wherein at least lead draw-out sides of a base and cap are provided with a glass flow reservoir along the sealed outer rim of each. CONSTITUTION:The lead draw-out side of the sealed part of the cap 2 is provided with a groove 2 serving as the reservoir of glass flow along the outer rim. For example, the groove is formed into dimensions named 0.2c, i.e., a height and a width of 0.2mm., respectively. A groove 2 is formed in the base 1 in the same manner. Then, the base and the cap are assembled completely in the same manner as in the same conventional case. Thus, a package having no failure of glass flow can be obtained. The groove 2a can be provided along the outer rim only on the lead draw-out side, and formed along the outer rim on the 4 sides. |
