<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition selectively absorptive in near infrared rays, suitable for horticultural greenhouses, glazing for residences, magnetic tapes, etc., by incorporating a plastic with, an a near infrared light absorber, specific anthraquinone compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by either (A) incorporating a plastic, with a near infrared light absorber of formula [R<1> and R<2> are each (substituted)alkyl, (substituted)aryl, etc.] (e.g. 1,4-bis-(n-butylamino)-2,3- dicyano-5,8-dihydroxy anthraquinone) followed by forming into film, etc. or (B) coating the surface of a plastic film with a polymer solution containing said absorber.</p> |
