PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of generating trouble with simple construction by throwing an inoculant and ceasing the throwing by means such as triangular stopper according to the forward and backward rotation of a ladle handle. CONSTITUTION:Pouring is started when the titled handle 4 of the ladle is rotated forward. A disk 41 and a cam plate 51 grasped by a torque limiter of an inoculating device are then turned forward, by which the inoculant is supplied to molten metal flow. The disk 41 and the cam plate 51 are rotated backward when the handle 4 is rotated backward. The the triangular stopper 60 fits into the notch of the disk 41 to prohibit the backward rotation of the disk 4, by which the molten metal flow is throttled, but the amt. of the inoculant to be added remains the same. The triangular stopper 60 is lifted when the cam 52 is largely rotated backward beyond the point C by the operation to rotate the handle 4 backward upon ending of pouring. Then a projection 53 of the cam plate 51 contacts a stopper 63 to prohibit the backward rotation of the cam plate 51. The supply of the inoculant in thus stopped. |
