摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the control stability of a vehicle even when disturbance by cross wind is effected, by providing a means for detecting cross wind to the vehicle, by changing the same phase rate of determined steering ratio for rear wheels in accordance with the detected disturbance by cross wind. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle cross wind disturbance detecting means 4 detects cross wind to a vehicle, and when a vehicle rectilinear movement condition detecting means 3 detects the rectilinear movement of the vehicle, a steering ratio changing means 5 change the same phase rate of determined steering ratio of rear wheels with respect to front wheels in order to increase the same in accordance with disturbance by cross wind. Then, an output means 6 delivers a control signal corresponding to the determined steering ratio to a rear wheel steering mechanism B to steer the rear wheels. Accordingly, when the vehicle is subjected to cross wind, the steering ratio is set to a value which is larger than the same phase side steering ratio during normal running, and therefore the displacement of the vehicle due to disturbance by cross wind may be made to be less, thereby it is possible to enhance the rectilinearity of the vehicle.
