发明名称 AIRTIGHTNESS TESTER FOR TUBULAR BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a safe test to be conducted through a remote operation by providing a television camera for a boxlike body having an opening formed in the main body and provided with deformable window frames and linear window frames and connecting an actuator with the linear window frame. CONSTITUTION:In a boxlike body 11, an opening 13 in the front of the main body 12 is defined by an opposite pair of flexible, telescopic and deformable window frames 14 and an opposite pair of linear window frames 15. The whole tester is moved by operating a robot arm 20 and the opening 13 of the boxlike body 11 is made to abut against a portion to be tested as the window frames 15 are kept parallel to the axis of a tubular body. Further, the window frames 15 are made to strongly abut against the tubular body by an actuator. Thus, also the window frames 14 are made to closely about against the cylindrical surface of the tubular body. Then, a soap-and-water solution is injected and applied to the portion to be tested from a nozzle 17. Then, the pressure in the boxlike body 11 is gradually reduced by a negative pressure pump. The portion to be tested is irradiated by an illumination lamp and imaged by a camera 16. Since the bubbles of the soap-and-water solution are generate when a flaw is present in the portion to be tested, the presence or absence of generated bubbles can be confirmed via the camera 16.
