PURPOSE:To reduce the variance of the gain of an amplifier circuit, to make the operating speed high and to lower power consumption of the circuit, by causing the output signal of the amplifier circuit to become an electric charge and electric charge-to-voltage converting the output of a photoelectric conversion processing circuit train by means of one signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectric charges produced at a photoelectric converting element train 1a, 1b...1n are selected by scanning circuits, 2a, 2b...2n and amplified by amplifier circuits 3a, 3b...3n in electric charge. After the amplification the photoelectric charges are connected with an output line 5 by selection circuits 4a, 4b...4n. The signal charges outputted to the output line 5 are charge- to-voltage converted by a signal processing circuit 6 and outputted to a photoelectric conversion output terminal 7. Since the amplifier circuits 3a, 3b...3n are charge-electric charge amplifier circuits and the accuracy of their amplification factors is determined by the relative accuracy of their circuit constants, a high-accuracy amplification factor can easily be obtained even when the amplifier circuits 3a, 3b...3n are different from each other. Therefore, variance of the gains of the amplifier circuits due to variance in manufacture can sharply be reduced and high-speed operations and power consumption can be lowered.
