摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To specify a shifting quantity with a good accuracy and to further miniaturize a magnetic recording and reproducing device by controlling directly the shifting from the non-operating position of a tape travelling type member such as an impedance roller and an erasing head to the operating position by a cam groove provided at a gear at the time of a tape loading. CONSTITUTION:A loading ring 13 being an annular gear driven by a motor, is arranged at the peripheral surface of a cylinder 2, a gear 36, in which a cam groove 36a is provided at the loading ring, is meshed through a speed reducing gear train 37, and a pin implanted, for example, to the supporting member of an impedance roller 22 is engaged to the cam groove 36a provided at the gear. In accordance with the shifting of a loading means, the impedance roller 22 can be shifted from the non-operating position to the operating position in the condition to suppress the transfer loss of an operating stroke and the occurrence of a dead space as much as possible.</p>
