PURPOSE:To effectively start with a simple device by specifying a position of a rotor while limiting a current of a stator winding and then starting the rotor. CONSTITUTION:After a position of a rotor 13 is specified while limiting a stator winding current by dividing a stator winding voltage by energizing means 18 at starting time, the rotor 13 is started. After starting, the rotation of the rotor 13 is controlled by a control means 17 while detecting the accurate position of the rotor 13 by a rotor position detector 16. When the rotor 13 approaches a normal rotation, voltages to be applied to stator windings 7-12 are set by the control means 17 to a rated voltage. |
