PURPOSE:To save a space and a wiring cost by mounting a reactor integrally on a sheath of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor sheath 1 is composed by securing brackets 3 to both ends of a stator frame 2, supporting a rotational shaft 4, and containing an armature 5, field cores 6, a field coil 7, a commutator 8, a brush 10, and a brush holder 9. An interpole 12 is provided between the adjacent field cores 6, and an armature current flows to an interpole coil 13. A reactor 14 having a reactance substantially equal to the total reactance of the all interpoles 12 is mounted in a built-in structure to be connected in series with the armature 5 on a suitable position of the sheath 1 such as on the inner surface of the bracket 3. Thus, the installing space of the reactor and an installing cost can be reduced as compared with a case that a conventional outer reactor is used. |
