<p>PURPOSE:To block without fail a dubbing of a tape on which discrimination data including dubbing protecting data are recorded with information data by controlling a signal blocking circuit which is provided in a reproducing/ recording system through the use of a dubbing blocking and controlling circuit which detects a dubbing protecting data from a reproducing signal and generates a dubbing blocking and controlling signal. CONSTITUTION:A digital audio signal from a recording circuit 4 is recorded so as to form an inclined track on a slave tape by a rotary magnetic head. Further, a dubbing blocking and controlling signal from a dubbing blocking and controlling circuit 5 of VTR 1 on the reproducing side is supplied to a switch SW of VTR 2 on the recording side through a transmitting line, and their ON/OFF are controlled. Namely, in the dubbing blocking and controlling circuit 5, the bit data B7=1 of control word data ID5 are detected as a dubbing protecting data, and only when the dubbing blocking and controlling signal from the dubbing blocking and controlling circuit 5 is generated, the switch SW as a signal blocking circuit is turned OFF by this dubbing blocking and controlling signal.</p> |
