PURPOSE:To suppress the harmonic component of an inverter output without using a filter by phase-inverting the harmonic component detected by an output waveform of the inverter to be added to a basic frequency output from an output frequency setter. CONSTITUTION:The output waveform of an inverter 4 is detected by an output voltage waveform detector 21, the waveform detected by the detector 21 is input to a calculation processor 22 to be divided into a basic wave and harmonic components. The divided components are phase-inverted at 180 deg. by a phase inverter 34 to be added to a basic frequency output from an output frequency setter 9. This added output is supplied to an inverter controller 6.
